You would like to integrate individual chewing movements into the printable double joint? This is what xSNAP 360 was developed for. The cloud-based software can be fed with data from the jaw registration system (currently zebris JMAnalyser+ (Schütz Dental) as well as MODJAW) or the fully adjustable virtual articulator to design a double joint with patient-specific parameters. Both the data import and the design run fully automatically. But where does the model come from? This can be designed either in the software's own Model Builder with basic functions or with a Model Builder from other software manufacturers and then imported with a mouse click. SMALL JOINT WITH BIG EFFECT.
Jaw models from the 3D printer - until now, these were only available with a clip-folding articulator, which made it possible to check the static occlusion. The natural jaw movements, on the other hand, could only be carried out using a conventional articulator. The effort required for this can be saved with xSNAP.
The 3D joint system with ball head is simply attached to the models of the upper and lower jaw and printed with them in order to precisely simulate physiological movements of the lower jaw (protrusion, mediotrusion and laterotrusion).
